Equipmemt Inspection & User Checks Training
This one day course is aimed at anyone who either uses or inspects adventure activity PPE & FPE equipment, as Users and Inspectors both have a role in inspecting equipment. The day will include a mix of theory and learning, practical inspection of equipment, and some written work.

- Manufacturer recommendations
- Inspection – who inspects equipment and when
- Inspection Techniques
- Practicing inspection on equipment that is fit for purpose and equipment which is no longer usable
- Storage cleaning and maintenance of equipment
- Disposal of equipment
- Inspection checklists
There is a short test to undertake at the end of the training day
for those who wish to be certificated as an Equipment Inspector, rather than receiving only a certificate of attendance.
Those who pass the test receive a Certificate which
is valid for 3 Years. The Equipment Inspection Checklists for
relevant PPE & FPE are provided following the course as PDFs
for use during future Equipment Inspections.
